About the Training

More than a certification. A calling.

Yoga teacher training is about so much more than learning how to teach a yoga class. It’s an opportunity to deepen your practice, understand the tradition behind it, challenge what you think you know, and discover your own authentic voice along the way.

This Yoga Alliance accredited 200-hour training is led by Kacey Mulligan, 500-hour yoga teacher and operating owner of Yoga 2.0, in collaboration with Become a Yogi, a globally recognized training program rooted in depth, integrity, and intentional teaching.

After studying in Thailand under master teacher Jonah Kest, Kacey brought the teachings and methodology that transformed her own practice home to Chicago. Her approach blends the ancient roots and philosophy of yoga with intelligent movement, creative sequencing, functional anatomy, and the realities of teaching in the modern yoga world.

Throughout 200 hours together, we’ll explore asana, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, yoga philosophy, the Eight Limbs, sequencing, cueing, teaching methodology, hands-on practice, and the business of yoga. You’ll learn not simply how to lead a class, but how to understand the body in front of you, sequence with purpose, hold space with confidence, and develop a teaching voice that actually feels like your own.

And while you’ll leave with the tools and accreditation to teach, you don’t have to arrive knowing that teaching is your path. Some come to become teachers. Others come because they’re ready to understand this practice on an entirely different level.

More than a certification, these 200 hours are an invitation to get curious, go deeper, find your people, and discover what happens when you give yourself the space to fully immerse in the practice.

Move. Heal. Evolve.
